He began making a living by doing illustrations for different publications and he ended up doing graphic work for The USA Open Tennis, Sports Illustrated or the NY Marathon. He has twice won the Sanfermin International Poster Competition. In 1989 he set up The Kukuxumusu Drawing Factory along with two friends when it seems they were trying to make some beer money for themselves during the Iruñea/Pamplona Sanfermin Fiestas. Nowadays, he is the creative director of the firm and his creations can be found stamped on products in many countries around the world.
